Minister Tours Yarmouth County

Transportation and Public Works Minister Clifford Huskilson is touring the roads of Yarmouth County today along with operations staff from the district office.

"I made the commitment to review some roads in Yarmouth County several weeks ago," said Mr. Huskilson. "This tour is part of my continuing assessment of roads across the province."

He will tour several roads, including the Canaan Road.

Transportation and Public Works has allocated some $53 million for its 1998 repaving program. To date, about 60 tenders for projects throughout the province have been advertised or awarded.
