Halifax County--Update--Route 224

Traffic travelling on Route 224 near Cooks Brook is being diverted to the Old Guysborough Road while the department repairs a culvert in the area. Trucks moving through this area may want to select alternate routes until further notice. The repairs are expected to take several days.

Only local residential traffic will be permitted to pass through this area.
