Road Tenders Called
The Department of Transportation and Public Works has announced road projects for Cumberland, Halifax, Shelburne and Victoria counties.
The projects include:
Cumberland County:
Pulverization, gravelling and repaving of Route 307, from Trunk 6 at Wallace southerly, a distance of 6 kilometres.
Halifax County:
Microsurfacing of Highway 101, from the start of the grass median westerly to the Mount Uniacke interchange, a distance of 7.5 km.
Shelburne County (2 sections):
Repaving of Trunk 3, from Mill Stream #1 Bridge at Central Woods Harbour eastward, a distance of 4.5 km. Also New Wharf Road, from the intersection at Trunk 3 at Lower Woods Harbour southerly, a distance of 0.15 km.
Victoria County (3 sections):
Microsurfacing of the Trans Canada Highway 105, from 0.5 km west of Big Harbour Road westerly, a distance of 1.6 km; the Trans Canada Highway 105, from the overpass at Exit 9 in Baddeck easterly, a distance of 2 km; and the Trans Canada Highway 105, from Middle River Bridge westerly to Humes River Bridge, a distance of 4.4 km.
All tenders close July 16.
