Paving Tenders Called
The Department of Transportation and Public Works has announced three paving projects for Halifax, Hants and Kings counties.
The projects are:
Halifax County: Repaving of the northbound lanes of Highway 118 from the onramp at Highway 107 northerly to Highway 102, a distance of about nine kilometres.
Hants County: Repaving of Highway 102 southbound from Exit 8 at Elmsdale southerly to Exit 7 at Enfield, a distance of about seven kilometres.
Kings County: Repaving of Highway 101 eastbound at Avonport from Gaspereau River Bridge easterly to the West Brooklyn underpass, and Highway 101 westbound at Avonport from the West Brooklyn underpass westerly to the end of four lanes, a total distance of six kilometres.
Another tender was announced for the resealing of 145 kilometres in various sections of Kings, Yarmouth, Queens and Lunenburg counties, and in the Chester Municipality.
The tenders close June 25.
