Open House in Antigonish

The Department of Transportation and Public Works will hold an open house this Saturday, May 30, 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., St. Andrew Junior School, Highland Drive, Antigonish.

The open house is an opportunity for people to review the three alignment options proposed for Highway 104 through Antigonish from Addington Forks Road to Taylor Road.

Presentations will be made at noon., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Departmental staff will be on hand to answer questions and discuss concerns.

To reach St. Andrew Junior High, take Exit 31 off the 104 eastbound, turn onto Lyncharm Street across from the Acadian Lines Bus Terminal, then turn left onto Highland Drive.

The public is encouraged to drop by, ask questions and offer comments. More information on the alignments and a questionnaire for input is also available on the department's web site at http://www.gov.ns.ca/trans .
