Fire Destroys Ingonish Garage

A fire early today, May 5, destroyed a Department of Transportation and Public Works garage in Ingonish, Victoria Co. Contents of the garage, including three vehicles, were also destroyed.

Preliminary estimates put the loss at between $450,000 and $500,000.

The cause of the fire has not been determined and is being investigated.
