Traffic Advisory: Highway 103

HALIFAX COUNTY: HIGHWAY 103

The next phase of construction to twin Highway 103 from Beechville to Upper Tantallon gets under way this week.

Excavation, grading and blasting are scheduled to begin along the 4.7-kilometre segment between Beechville and the Nine Mile River today, Monday, March 2, and will continue through early summer.

Traffic flow may be interrupted over the next six weeks while blasting is carried out. Blasting is not permitted during peak traffic times, 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Excavation and grading work will take place adjacent to Highway 103 and should not interfere with traffic.
