Details of Lunenburg County Tenders

The Department of Transportation and Public Works would like to clarify details of two paving tenders advertised Feb. 11 for Lunenburg County.

The first project (Tender No. 60016224) is the pulverization, gravelling and asphalt concrete paving of Route 210 in Lunenburg County, from Route 325 to the start of 1997 paving at the Old Chelsea Road. The work will cover about 9.4 kilometres. An earlier release suggested the work was on Route 325.

The second tender (Tender No. 60016240) is for pulverization, gravelling and asphalt concrete paving of New Elm Road from Route 210 to the Archibald Weagle Road. This work covers about 7.3 kilometres.

These projects are part of a series of upgrades and resurfacing projects scheduled for this year, and are part of Transportation and Public Works' Better Roads for Nova Scotia campaign.
