Beaver Bank Bypass

The Department of Transportation and Public Works and the Halifax Regional Municipality will hold an open house to review the proposed corridor for the Beaver Bank Collector Road.

Officials will be on hand Thursday, Feb. 5, between 2 and 8 p.m. at the Sackville Lions Club, 100 Old Beaver Bank Road in Lower Sackville.

The public are invited to drop in to look at preliminary plans for the project, with staff available to answer any questions and address comments or concerns.

Officials are interested in preserving a corridor for the Beaver Bank Collector. There is no schedule or date for construction. The Beaver Bank Collector will alleviate future traffic concerns on the Beaver Bank Road. It will also service development in the area.

A proposed corridor has been identified. The public are invited to provide input prior to Transportation and Public Works and the municipality finalizing a select location.
